Would you like to embark in a journey for your senses on a local market square or on a wine tasting tour on the Euganean hills, just some Km from the city center? Get in touch with me! I would love to show you the hidden gems of Padova and the countryside. After more that 10 years living abroad I came back to my hometown and I realized how lucky I am to live in such a beautiful town. So I started working as tour guide in Veneto and in the Alps. I use to say: "You need to see the world and chose consciously where to live". I chose Padua. I like exploring the nature and combine trekking with cultural sightseeing. I consider my guests my travel fellows, sharing with them my passion for my home country, its nature, arts and culture. Being a linguist, I like teaching my guests the typical Italian idioms and the basic of the Italian language, enriching their experience in Padua with anecdotes and cultural tips. Guida ambientale escursionistica (Licenced tour guide for hiking and biking tours) AT (Accompagnatrice Turistica, Licenced Tour Guide). I am not a driver. I can accompany you in your vehicle or I can arrange with your hotel for a separate car and driver. I do not have a license to give tours inside the museums nor in the Cappella degli Scrovegni.

Overview of your Padua tour

On our hike we will visit the renaissance villa dei Vescovi, also known as, the bishops residence. We will indulge on the loggia overlooking the vineyards, feeling like the artist at that time, who used to spend the hot days here, painting, reading and enjoying nature. We will also go for a hike of around 1, 5 hours (200 m altitude difference), just behind the Villa, on the vineyards to the small white church of St. Antony. From there we will enjoy the magnificent view, stretching to the Alps, in days of clear weather. Don't forget to bring a bottle of water with you, good hiking shoes, a cap and casual clothes. After the hike we could indulge in a wine tasting (this part is optional and can be paid separately on site).

Your Padua tour itinerary

- We will meet in front of the Villa in Luvigliano, near Torreglia. - We will visit the villa together - Then we will hike the hill behind the villa and arrive at the small white Church of St. Antony at the terre bianche. - At the end of the hike we might enjoy a glass of wine with cold cuts, ham, cheeses in a local wine shop, (optional). - Then it's time for us to head back to the villa, where we parked our cars or the taxi can pick us up in the village. * This itinerary can be customized to suit your needs and preferences. Do not hesitate to reach me.
