Hi everybody, my name is Marcello. I'm specialized in high grade archeological and historical tours. Born and raised in Naples and belonging to a very old Neapolitan famiIy I've got the official license of Professional Tour Guide in 2000. My range of activities is the whole Campania Region, including all its archaeological and historical sites, like Pompeii, Herculaneum, Napoli, Paestum, royal palaces and museums. I'm also specialized in the painting of '500 and '600, like Caravaggio, Tiziano, Raffaello, Jusepe de Ribeira, Battistello Caracciolo, and all the painters who" mastered the light". In 2015 I've got specialization in roman currency as well. I do cooperate with the U. S. Syracuse University, and over the past years, I had interesting experiences while working with some International TV productions as expert in archeology and art. Your Naples tour itinerary
The itinerary is pretty simple: you'll be picked up and dropped off right at your location in Rome or Naples by a licensed english speaking driver. The vehicle will be a full optionals Minivan class V Mercedes Benz. The ride takes around two hours. The archeological tour starts from one of the Pompeian gates, where you'll find me, and it goes through the highlights of the site step by step over its thousands years of history. I don't follow the mass tourism. I've never done it. That is not my idea of touring Pompeii. I will give you a personal tour, a personal experience, the true story. That's what I like doing mostly. Showing the real Pompeii, the most impressive frescoes and mosaics still unknown. With me you will see Pompeii like it actually was at that time, with its thousands sailors, merchants and traders crowding the streets. Theaters, shops, temples and opulent private residences where the local aristocracy lived. That is my Pompeii tour. My tours are "Away From The Crowd"
