Hi everybody, my name is Marcello. I'm specialized in high grade archeological and historical tours. Born and raised in Naples and belonging to a very old Neapolitan famiIy I've got the official license of Professional Tour Guide in 2000. Archaeological and historical tours are my core business but always based on keeping my clients "AWAY FROM THE MASSIVE TOURISM". I love my job. I love my country. I love giving not simple orientations but the "real essence" of every single spot you are interested in, observing all safety measures to reduce the Covid19 diffusion. My range of activities is the whole Campania Region, including all its archaeological and historical sites, like Pompeii, Herculaneum, Napoli, Paestum, royal palaces and museums. I'm also specialized in the painting of '500 and '600, like Caravaggio, Tiziano, Raffaello, Jusepe de Ribeira, Battistello Caracciolo, and all the painters who" mastered the light". In 2015 I've got specialization in roman currency as well. I do cooperate with the U. S. Syracuse University, and over the past years, I had interesting experiences while working with some International TV productions as expert in archeology and art. Some reviews about me have been written by Kerry Mullis (Noble Price), Donna Tart (Pulitzer in 2014), Zubin Meta ( World's greatest Orchestra Director), Jude Law, Hugh Jackman, the Jobs. . . . . . . . You can see me on the CBS Sunday morning news runned on May 19th 2019 or using the link https://www. cbsnews. com/video/a-perfect-cup-of-espresso/ I also worked with Samantha Brown, american documentary maker, for the documentary 'Passport to Europe' and recently I've been working for the worldwide magazine Conde N'Est Traveler as local expert in history. What else I can say, this is what I do with passion and responsibility……. . and always having a lot of fun. - Licensed Professional Tour Guide by Regione Campania Aut. n. 4071 - High Specialization Course in "Pompeii and the Sub-Vesuvian Roman Cities" - CFE, Cambridge First Certificate, British Council Institute of Naples None

Procida is pretty different from all the other Mediterranean islands. Diversity made of contrasts and harmonies, lights and shadows, strong colors and smooth vibrations. Even before arriving to Marina Grande, the main harbor of the island of Procida, you'll be captured by the beauty of the typical pastel-colored houses overlooking the waterfront. While maintaining the atmosphere of a fishing village, where you can still buy fresh fish straight from the fishing boats, Marina Grande with its craft shops, bars, pizzerie and typical seafood restaurants, is the real heart-beat of Procida. So walking through the narrow alleyway, between history, colors, traditions and amazing nature I will show you all the other faces of this island like Marina della Corricella so crystallized just like it was centuries and centuries ago. Nothing has changed over there like no other place in the World. Come, join me on this tour!
The tour starts, usually, meeting at the Port of Napoli or Sorrento. - The jet boat takes about 45 minutes to get to Procida. Once there, and after a good coffee, I will take you all the way up to terra Murata well known for the best panorama of the entire island. - - - The visit of the Abbey of San Michele, with its almost one thousand years of history, is highly recommended. From Terra Murata it's so easy walking straight down to Marina della Corricella, the fishing village, the sweetest corner, the most seductive village of Procida. The colors of the centuries old houses literally built one on top of another in a vertical way is what makes Procida one of the most unique places of the World. - Lunch it's up to you but my suggestion for the lovers of seafood is eating in one of the local trattorias located a few meters from the sea, where fish come fresh daily. - Marina Chiaiolella and the little Isle of Vivara are in our itinerary. This way you will have a complete knowledge of this wonderful spot.
