Hi everybody, my name is Marcello. I'm specialized in high grade archeological and historical tours. Born and raised in Naples and belonging to a very old Neapolitan famiIy I've got the official license of Professional Tour Guide in 2000. In 2015 I've got specialization in roman currency as well. I do cooperate with the U. S. Syracuse University, and over the past years, I had interesting experiences while working with some International TV productions as expert in archeology and art. Your Naples tour itinerary
The itinerary is pretty simple: the tour starts from one of the Pompeian gates and goes through the highlights of the site step by step over its thousand years of history. I don't follow the mass tourism. I've never done it. That is not my idea of touring Pompeii. I will give you the true story. That's what I like doing mostly. Showing the real Pompeii, the most impressive frescoes and mosaics still unknown. With me you will see the Pompeii as seaport city, like it was at that time, with its thousands sailors, merchants and traders crowding the streets. Theaters, shops, temples and opulent private residences where the local aristocracy lived. That is my Pompeii tour. We can make one or two stops if you need to use facilities or getting some snacks. *This is a normally a walking tour. It starts and ends at the entrance to the archaeological site. In case you need transportation, please message me for a customized tour. In winter, I strongly suggest you bring an umbrella and, if possible, comfortable shoes
