Your 2-hour tour of Herculaneum begins with a deep dive into history as you explore the well-preserved ruins of this Roman city buried under the ashes of Vesuvius. With our expert personal guide, you will discover the fascinating stories of this ancient city, admiring the frescoes, cobbled streets and noble houses. Next, your journey will take you to Pompeii, where another 2 hours will be dedicated to exploring this iconic archaeological site. Through the buried streets, you will relive the days of ancient Rome as our guide tells you about the daily lives of its inhabitants. After this enthralling experience, you will have the opportunity to taste the best of local cuisine. You can choose between a lunch break in a traditional restaurant, where you will savor authentic Italian dishes such as pizza, mozzarella and pasta, prepared with fresh and genuine ingredients, or opt for a visit to a renowned local winery.

Your Naples tour itinerary

The Herculaneum and Pompeii tour departs at 8:00 am. We will arrive in Herculaneum at 8. 30am and will have two hours to explore this fascinating archaeological site until 10. 30am. Herculaneum offers a unique insight into the daily life of the ancient Roman city, preserved under the ashes of Vesuvius. Subsequently, at 11:00, we will be in Pompeii, where we will have until 1:00 pm to immerse ourselves in the incredible history of this city buried by the eruption of Vesuvius in 79 AD. Pompeii offers a wide variety of buildings, temples, and artifacts that chronicle Roman life at the time. After the visit to Pompeii, at 1. 30 pm, we will have the option to enjoy a delicious lunch or a wine tasting. This moment of relaxation will be an excellent opportunity to discuss the morning's experiences and savor the local cuisine or the region's renowned wines.

I will take care of organizing the tour with the advance purchase (1 month) of the tickets and the possible booking of the guide in Pompeii and Herculaneum. From this year the tickets are nominative and limited so after booking the tour I need to know the name and surname of all the participants in the tour and at the entrance to the excavations of Pompeii and Vesuvius you will be asked to show a document or a photo of the document at the time of entry to the excavations and Vesuvius.
