City tour of Naples and Pompeii ruins

A day spent between history, traditions and local flavours. Pompei was an ancient Roman commercial centre that was submerged by the ashes after the destructive eruption of the 79 A. D. of the Volcano Mount Vesuvio. Napoli is one of the most enchanting cities of art in Italy. Its gulf, offers a very impressive view, with the background of the amazing volcano Vesuvius. For the charm of a historical center that tells you how incredible it is. Taking the famous road called "Spaccanapoli" that divides the city in 2 sides, you can start from the Church of the Gesù Nuovo, pass through the Basilica of San Domenico Maggiore and arrive, going up via Duomo, to the magnificent Cathedral. There are four castles that dominate Naples: Castel Sant'Elmo, Castel Capuano, Castello dell'Ovo and the fortress-palace of Castel Nuovo, also called "Maschio Angioino". Of course you can't miss the Neapolitan pizza!

The itinerary will be very flexible and customizable at the moment. - The first stop could be in Pompeii for a walking tour of about 2 hours. For a more intense experience I can book for you a private walking tour of the site with an authorized guide that will explain the leads you trough the splendour of the Ancient Roman lifestyle and trough the horror of their last minutes. - It's posdible a visit to a local vineyard, there will be time for lunch with the Neapolitan typical products accompained by a tasting of different kind of mount Vesuvius wine. In alternative we can go to one of the famous Pizzeria of Naples to taste the famous local pizza. - During the day there will be time to see the most interesting places of the city, like: "Spaccanapoli", the Church of the Gesù Nuovo, pass through the Duomo of San Gennaro, the four castles, the archaeological museum, Plebiscito Square, Royal palace. Of course it's planned time for picture of the famous postcard picture of Napoli.
