Hello! My name is Elena and I'm a licensed tour guide in Milano. I love my job and meeting people visiting from all four corners of the world. I was born in a real Milanese family and I live in Milano: my mum has shared her passion for the art and history of our city with me ever since I can remember! On our tour together we'll discover the city center and many hidden gems of Milano side by side. I really enjoy personalizing each and every tour, according to my guests' specific desires. Milano is not only the Italian capital of fashion and business, but it also has an incredible art heritage: whether your tastes run to historical masterpieces or the latest in contemporary architecture, this city has it all! I am also deeply passionate about food and wine, so showing you our local specialties or experiencing food tastings will naturally be an additional part of your experience with me. Milano offers a multitude of museums and art galleries, as well as a host of temporary exhibitions all year round, so of course it's possible to incorporate a visit indoors during our walking tour. If you are planning to spend several days in the Lombardy region, I would be happy to accompany you and guide you around nearby Como and its beautiful, scenic lake, as well as the little-known and stunning walled city of Bergamo, both less than an hour away from Milano. Any specific requests? You only have to ask, I'll be glad to customize a special tour just for you. Licensed as tourist guide for Food and wine itineraries (2017) Government Tour Guide License (Milano 2010) Food and Catering Degree at Scuola Cucina Italiana (2007) Member of GITEC Guide Italiane Turismo e Cultura Graduated from Milano Catholic University in 1988 I am not a driver but I can arrange for a private car and driver.

Discover why Milano is renowned for being one of the most stylish places in the world! We'll take a stroll together around the Fashion District, or as the Milanese like to call it, the "Quadrilatero della Moda", discovering a select number of noble family homes, and understanding how they used to live. The tour is completed by enjoying specialty food tastings in some of the city's best shops and bakeries, ending in true Milanese style with a typical Italian aperitivo at the historic bar of Camparino which is located at the entrance to the stunning Vittorio Emanuele II Gallery. Any "Milanese" worth his salt knows this area like the back of his hand, so join me on this tour to feel like a real adopted "Milanese"! Please, if possible, contact me before booking the tour :)
- Meeting under the portico of the Scala Opera House Theatre. - We'll begin our walk along the fashionable Via Montenapoleone and district, then we'll proceed to the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, the world's first ever covered mall and nowadays the home to the best "haute-couture" shops for the most stylish window shopping in the city. - We'll also stop for a break at one of the best Coffee Bars in town, to enjoy an authentic Italian 'caffè' and taste some delicious pastries or 'focaccia', a typical kind of oiled bread.
