Ciao! I'm Vincenzo and I'll be happy to show you the magnificent Florence. I'm an officially authorized guide of Florence. I speak fluently in English, Spanish, French and of course Italian. I've been doing this job since 2014 so I'd definitely say that I've already had my baptism of fire. I'll guide you through the millennial history of this unique city in the world; known as the cradle of the Renaissance (I'd say it is actually the cradle of all the modern society). With its artists, scientists, inventors, philosophers and poets, Florence will definitely make you fall in love and my job is to make this happen, so you return here again and again because a lifetime is not enough to explore this city. Guiding you discovering Florence doesn't mean just delivering the history of the city (which is anyway the base of our experiences), it means providing you with the most hidden stories, facts and curiosities that made this city great and attractive. I discovered this in years of studies and researches and (I'm still discovering more!). I assure you I'll be able to share things that no touristic book will tell you. Besides art, history and beauty, Florence offers way more! The hills around the city are extremely enchanting and I'd love to accompany you for a hike through forests, beautiful villages and quarries where the stones to build Florence's monuments were extracted. Besides this, we'll see artists' hometowns, olive trees and vineyards and stunning views over Florence. On request, all hikes can also be enriched with relaxing or dynamic yoga classes thanks to my girlfriend who's a licensed yoga teacher with a specialization in the Ashtanga style. I'm officially licensed by the local authorities as a Tourist Guide and Hiking Guide in Florence, after having attended the regular 18 months courses for each and passing all the exams required to obtain them.
