Lake Como golden treasure, extra-virgin olive oil

I grew up in Gravedona, a small village on Lake Como. My studies in Foreign Languages, my great passion for travelling, exploring places and coming in contact with new Cultures and people made me understand that I should work in the Tourism business. So, after a long period away from my home-town, I had the feeling to go back and start a new experience. The beautiful land where I live helped me a lot to build my dream: here art, nature and man's work join together and give life to amazing itineraries that always satisfy our senses and curiosities. Boat trips, a walking tour among characteristic villages, a lunch in a typical restaurant are only some of the numerous ways to discover Lake Como and its surroundings… I would like to show you the most genuine side of our culture and tradition and let you be part of our local atmosphere: my tours are usually "out of ordinary touristic routes". My other big passion is "food and wine": for this reason last year I took a post-graduate course in "Geologia e gusto: Narratore del Gusto, Comunicatore di benessere e Selezionatore delle tipicità italiane"; it helped me to develop technical and methodological skills in "food and wine" sector and to identify quality and local productions linked to a specific "terroir". Now I can apply this knowledge to my tours, organizing food and wine tastings and showing places in which traditional cuisine and genuine local products are protagonists. In 2015 I started a project with my husband, who's also passionate about food and wine; we wanted to create our own restaurant, but with a special concept: looking personally and carefully for every wine and food supplier, selecting only high quality products. And that's how our "Cantina & Bottega" was born and it is slowly developing. In some tours and experiences I propose I'll be happy to welcome you at my place: for me it is the fullfilment of my two passions! I organize private tours for individuals or small groups; I can also customize my tours according to your requests and needs: I will make for you personalized proposals. I am not a driver. For my tours I arrange transfers with a private vehicle with driver.
