This picturesque paradise is home to a vibrant array of wildlife, including an array of bird species & 3 incredible types of penguins: King, Magellanic & Gentoo. Also, sea lions & dolphins may be spotted! On this tour, you'll enjoy the scenery as we explore the key points of interest in Stanley, encompassing history, heritage and of course wildlife. Due to my love for nature, I visit these areas once in a fortnight, which allowed me to develop in depth knowledge about them. I want to give you an unforgettable time here, so come and discover the beauty of this special place for yourself!
Your Stanley tour itinerary
-Once we've gathered, we'll see Lady Elizabeth Shipwreck- a poignant reminder of the Islands' rich maritime history. -Next, we'll visit the breathtaking Yorke Bay Beach, a picturesque paradise with wildlife & bird fauna. -What follows will be the scenic Gipsy Cove with its breathtaking views of white sand beach & some war memorabilia on display, a unique blend of history, scenery & wildlife. Here we might spot shrubs & grasses, plus Magellanic penguins & other bird species. -Later, we'll visit the iconic Cape Pembroke Lighthouse which combines the natural beauty of its surrounding landscapes & ocean views with maritime history. Here we may see sea lions and even whales & playful dolphins that visit occasionally. -Afterwards, we'll pass by the island's famous Totem Pole & proceed to see a whale bone display. -At last, we'll go on a city tour where we'll see the whale bone arch, the Government House, the Liberation Memorial & the Battle Memorial. -Finally I'll drop you off back where I picked you up from.
