Welcome! Yes, you read that right - Daniela. Not the most typical Croatian name, I know 😄 My mom loved Italian soap operas… and the name stayed. Before anything else - I currently offer more than 20 different tours, but many guests prefer something more personal. I’m always happy to design a fully custom itinerary based on your interests, travel style and schedule. If you send me a message or email, I usually respond very quickly and can prepare a personalized plan within one day. Despite the Italian-sounding name, my family’s roots in Croatia go back more than 300 years (as far as we know). Dalmatia isn’t just where I work, it’s where my story truly begins. My name is Daniela, a licensed local guide based in Split with more than 10 years of guiding experience, and I’m genuinely happy you found my page. I also hold a Master’s degree in Tourism, which helps me combine professional planning with real local knowledge and experience. Guiding is not just my job; it’s something I’ve been living every day for years. I created these tours so guests can experience Dalmatia the way locals actually do - not only by seeing famous landmarks, but by understanding the stories, traditions and everyday life behind them. Every traveler is different, and I don’t believe in one standard tour for everyone. I adapt each experience to your interests and pace, whether you enjoy history, culture, food, nature, or simply a relaxed day exploring. My goal is for you to feel comfortable, ask questions freely and leave with a real connection to the places you visit. I take care of all the details: organization, timing, reservations, recommendations and those small local tips you would normally never find on your own. You can relax and enjoy, knowing everything is thoughtfully planned and handled with care. Many of my guests say the best part of their trip is not only what they saw, but how they experienced it. From ancient ruins and coastal towns to local homes and family traditions, I want you to feel welcomed — not like a tourist, but like a guest. I truly believe travel is about people and shared experiences. Everyone is welcome, and I do my best to create a warm, friendly atmosphere where you can feel at ease and enjoy your time in Croatia. If you choose to explore with me, I will make sure your visit becomes one of your favorite travel memories. I look forward to meeting you in Dalmatia! Discover Trogir beyond its monuments on a relaxed walking tour combined with a visit to the local market. We explore the old town’s main highlights and hidden streets while learning how daily life has shaped this UNESCO-listed town through centuries. The experience continues at the local market, where you will see where locals shop for fresh produce, taste seasonal flavors, and learn about traditional Dalmatian ingredients. This tour connects history with everyday life and is perfect for travelers who want a deeper, more authentic experience of Trogir.

Daniela is a wonderful tour guide. She is very engaging and speaks perfect English. She started out with a brief history of Croatia. Then we wandered through the narrow streets of the beautiful old town as she pointed out architectural details I would have never noticed. We also talked about present day Croatia. It is obvious she truly loves her job. The tour was a great introduction to my week-long bike tour in the Dalmatian Islands.
I had the most amazing pleasure with the Trogir Old Town Tour and hostess Daniela K. Daniela was very informative, gracious, friendly, and knowledgeable in all things local from the town, to food, to history, and points of interest. She presented various local stops and food in a unique perspective in a fun, relaxed, and informative manner. Her bright smile and helpful manner was very enjoyable. I highly recommend this program. Thank you, Daniela and Fala!!!
Daniela's tour exceeded all our expectations. She was friendly, extremely knowledgeable, spoke English well, and had a great sense of humor. Growing up in Trogir she had a special knowledge of the people, customs, and traditions. She took us to a local bakery and bought us a traditional pastry and also took great group photos for us at perfect locations. We would highly recommend Daniela for any tour.
We had a fun and informative tour of Trogir with Daniela. She didn't cancel despite a pouring rain and showed us Trogir as only a native could - we really felt like we were her guests. She even took us to a local bakery and bought us some local sweets called rafiols (which we loved and later came back for more). Daniela was engaging and fun, and was a great photographer too. We highly recommend her tour!
Incredibly personable and knowledgeable. Really brought the whole Trogir history to life even on a rainy day! I thoroughly recommend Daniela K
