Krk island nature tour, with a local guide

Hello dear travelers, my name is Tina and I hope to be your guide through my beautiful country. I was born in Germany and lived there for two and a half years until the war in my country ended. My family then decided to return to Croatia, and I have lived in the beautiful coastal town of Opatija ever since. Living in a tourist town and having my entire family involved in tourism and showing love for it, passed on the same enthusiasm to me as well. I love traveling, meeting new people, learning about other places, and seeing different cultures. . . and this job has it all. So even though I studied marketing at the University of Economics, I realized I wanted to work with travelers and show them all the beauties of my country. While finishing my studies in 2015, I became a licensed tour guide for Istrian region and next year I added Kvarner and Lika- Senj region. First I started working as a local guide and later on I enjoyed taking the travelers on tours throughout Croatia and neighboring countries. Small groups are the best way to explore the country. I enjoy meeting new travelers that have the desire to learn more about the country they are visiting. Getting to know the places, people that live in it, local customs, history and tradition helps evoking unforgettable emotions. While guiding smaller groups I am able to go off the beaten paths, show them little curiosities, my favorite places, little tips and tricks that we locals know that can fulfill the entire experience of the country. I truly believe that seeing a country with a local guide who adjusts to your interests is the best way to fall in love with every single place in the world.
