My family moved to Santa Marta when I was a kid, so I learned everything about the Pearl of the Caribbean helping and assisting these guides. I am a professional in linguistics and Colombian history. Nicolas’s enthusiasm for his work is truly remarkable, and his knowledge is exceptional. He is fun, energetic, and incredibly accommodating. We had a unique situation with a flight out of Santa Marta at 5 PM, which meant we couldn’t stay in Tayrona Park. Nicolas worked with us to plan everything seamlessly, and the experience was fantastic.
I loved everything we learned about Tayrona with Nicolas and it was so easy to coordinate with him. I am an American married to a Colombian, and no one in his family has ever experienced Tayrona the way we did on this tour. I think we brought home about 1 pound of sand in my husband's pockets from the swim!

We received courteous and personal attention the entire tour of Tayrona Park, one of the world's natural wonders. Along for the hike was an indigenous person that told us about the Wiwa Tribe's culture and traditions. It was a wonderful and fulfilling experience.
Hiking through Tayrona Park with Nico was such a pleasure! He is able to share his knowledgable about the flora, fauna and the indigenous people through stories and facts in a very captivating manner. He very kindly took my daughter on a hike to a waterfall which she really enjoyed. He has a great spirit and a deep appreciation for this very special part of the world. I would highly recommend him if you are visiting Tayrona!
