We found Samantha to be friendly, helpful, informative and accommodating during our tour. She helped us look for items we wanted to buy and showed us pretty much all the main attractions in Harbin. We found that the tour gave us a good feel of Harbin and enjoyed the different local cuisine. She was thoughtful of the needs of our kids and made sure we were sightseeing at a comfortable pace given the cold weather.
The entire time with her was fabulous! They met us at the airport and she helped us register in the hotel. She showed us so many amazing sights including the Snow and Ice Festival. She had lunch with us each day and took us to different restaurants with different food experiences - all of which we loved! She finished the tour by helping us navigate the airport and getting us through some difficulties in the check-in process. She as amazing and I would highly recommend her to anyone!
Samantha was a great guide! She was waiting for us at the airport as discussed and we started the tour right away. She is very friendly and speaks great English and went out of her way to accommodate our last-minute requests and restaurant wants. She found us some really good local restaurants and brought us to all the tourist spots we were interested in. Our driver, Mr. Wong, did not speak English but he was also very friendly and helpful with luggage and picking us up/dropping off at best spots.
What a magical 3 days tour we had with Sam. We covered every item set out in the long itinerary and was never made to feel tired or rushed. Sam greeted us every morning with big smiles and said good bye to us every evening with the same big smile. Harbin is a beautiful place and together with Sam's information on its cultural, historical and contemporary heritage placed meaning to all of its beauty. Thank you Sam!
Suggestion Itinerary: Day 1 At 9:00am today's tour begins to visit the Sun Island Scenic Resort for Snow Festival, then Harbin polarland, then visit the nearby Siberian Tiger Park, the largest breeding center in the world for Siberian Tigers. go to Harbin ice lantern show at Zhaolin park(if open) , to chase the old time ice lantern festival what is look like. Day 2 In the morning at 9:30, first we go to ice swimming show at Songhua River pool, to watch people swimming and performance, after this walking to Stalin park , you take a Ropeway to watch the whole landscape around Songhua river, then Russian town, after back to Stalin park, and walk to flood control monument tower plaza square, then continue to central street lunch for break, Next to go Harbin Tongta TV tower, at last go to the amazing Ice and Snow World for international Ice Festival at night time. Day 3 Morning go to Harbin Volga Manor, after this go to Chinese baroque street, old Harbin street(Laodaowai) to find where is Harbin start
