Visit Bamenda City Highlights and Mankon Palace
Overview of your Bamenda tour
The tour will begin in the city center and proceed to the Mankon traditional palace to visit the palace which is the seat of the administration, we will also visit the palace museum with a gallery of arts and craft dating centuries. Thereafter we go the handicraft workshop to see how people use their talents to produce valuable arts and crafts. From here we return to the city to see the shop where these crafts are displayed for sale.
Your Bamenda tour itinerary
We begin with a visit to the Mankon palace where the traditional ruler lives with his many wives and children. we will see the different compartments found inside the palace reserved for each category of persons and hold talks with the chiefs wives on different aspects of their livelihood. We will also visit the palace museum with a gallery of arts and craft dating several centuries. From the palace, we will return to the city center known as commercial avenue because of the high concentration of businesses, we stop for lunch and after go to a nearby village called bali to see the workshop where the people use their talents to create valuable arts and crafts. we leave the workshop and return to the city to see the shop where these handicrafts are displayed for sale. from here we walk around the city before going to take dinner and end the day.
