900 years , thats the time Innsbruck exists, 650 years, thats the time the Habsburg family rules in middle Europe. You see, a lot of years - worth to speak about it. We visit the imperial-palace and the imperial-court church, both are absolut highlights in Innsbruck. Gold, Marble and pomp - but also interesting stories and things worth to know - this tour offers a lot of different views. As a real local I can give youi also a lot of tipps and information about Innsbruck and the country around. Guiding is my life - I love it. You will feel that my special way to guide is to make it lightly, little funny also. Not only dates and names, more the stories around and some facts you wont hear from an electronic device.
* From the meeting point we will walk first outside the palace and the church, which is not only a church, she's also the biggest tomb of an emperor we can see in Europe. * After then we go inside first the church to visit the incredible 28 black statues of the Habsburg family and the tomb of Maximilian I, ruler of the Habsburg empire around 1500. * Then we go to the palace - here on the second floor we will see beautiful original chambers from around 1750, see the portrait gallery of Maria-Theresia and some rooms from famous Sissi from Austria.
