Hi and welcome to Darwin! With over two decades of guiding experience across Australia and South America, I bring a wealth of knowledge, warmth, and professionalism to every tour I lead. Based in the Northern Territory, I offer fully licensed, private charters for groups ranging from solo travelers to parties of up to 36. My tours are designed for those who seek authentic, personalized experiences—whether exploring Darwin’s vibrant cityscape, the waterfalls and termite mounds of Litchfield, or soaking in the cultural richness of the Top End. I’m fluent in English and pride myself on thoughtful communication, always striving to create memorable experiences that go far beyond sightseeing. I’ve spent nearly 30 years exploring the diverse ecosystems of this continent, honing my expertise as a tour guide. My passion for the outdoors was sparked early on; at just 7 years old, I nurtured my first vegetable garden, and that curiosity blossomed into a lifelong pursuit. Over the years, I’ve cultivated countless gardens and orchards across the Top End of Australia. My adventurous spirit led me to leave home at 15, driven by a desire to discover every corner of Australia. That thirst for exploration has taken me on an eclectic career path—from playing a key role in organizing the Dalai Lama’s visits to Australia since 2007, to founding a community service business focused on improving life in remote Aboriginal communities. These experiences instilled in me a strong sense of social responsibility and fueled my passion for Indigenous culture, which remains a driving force at Down Under Safaris. I continue to serve as an Aviation Rescue Firefighter, demonstrating courage and a commitment to community service. This role has further deepened my appreciation for the natural world and my desire to protect it. Today, Down Under Safaris is the embodiment of my love of exploration, sustainability, and cultural connection.
