Overview of your Andorra La Vella tour
This excursion will give you a chance to discover Andorra's main highlights in 3-4 hours time, both walking and driving. We'll begin with a walking tour within Andorra la Vella's old district, the capital town of this little country, in order to understand why Andorra is independent since 1278. We'll spend time exploring both the Casa de la Vall (former Parliament House) and the Romanesque church of Saint Steven (XII century). Afterwards, we'll take a drive to the mountains to enjoy a fantastic view of the whole town from Engolasters Belvedere, 500m above the bottom of the valley, where another sample of Romanesque architecture may be visited: St. Michel's church. To end, a pleasant one hour walk around Engolasters Lake at 1620 meters above the sea level will permit you to appreciate the natural beauty of Andorran environment: wild forest, high summits surround and crystal fresh water in the lake. Should you wish, we can also have a typical mountain lunch in a panoramic restaurant.
