Hi everyone! My name is Gianluca, I am an Italian citizen, son of the beautiful and sunny Sicily. I grew up and live today between two towns: Calatafimi-Segesta and Salemi, amongst the northwestern low hills and the wide Belice Valley, just in the middle of the province of Trapani.

I am a very thorough and punctual person with big attention to details: that is why I love to work as a TOUR GUIDE. I have plenty of interests and an innate desire to learn new things, during my University career I graduated in Cultural Anthropology and Ethnology, I qualified in Art History, Architecture and Geography.

Since 2007, I have been interested in tourism and cultural heritage because in my country we look at our Sicilian tradition as something that is precious and valued. I became a qualified tour guide after a hard qualification examination, comprising matters like history, archaeology, art of Sicily and tourist legislation.
I am ready to show you the beauty of Sicilian landscapes, always changing during seasons, offering you thousand flavours and tastes from traditional cookery of the Island and providing itineraries both for individuals or groups, in Italian or English language.

From Trapani to Selinus, Marsala to Segesta, Palermo to Agrigento there are infinite ways and places to explore and experience Sicily: I am really close to the Western area, very rich of ancient sites and I have always been very knowledgeable about Doric temples and Greek theatres in Sicily. In Agrigento visit the extraordinary Valley of Temples, UNESCO World Heritage Site, with a private tour guide. These are among the greatest Greek ruins in the world, and the splendor of the temples in the Doric style, built during the V and VI centuries BC. 

The archeological area in Selinunte is probably one of the most evocative places in Sicily, also one of the most impressive of all Greek sites, never having been built over in modern times. There have been dramatic restorations of the temples, very successful in spite of some experts' grumbles. In the 5th Century BC it was second only to Syracuse.
