This highlight is interspersed with some rest and recuperation days relaxing in wonderful Rwandan scenery. From my experience, trekking those primates is an extraordinary and breath-taking moment. Canopy walk is one of the most longest canopy in Africa and it offers great view of the Nyungwe Forest and Lake Kivu. It is a nice walk as it gives you a chance to see different animals, birds, insects and amphibians that lives in the forest and you learn about it through out the walk.

We will also visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial, resting place for more than 250, 000 victims of Genocide against the Tusti in 1994.

A mountain gorilla will never chase you when you are facing it and looking directly into its eyes. However, you should know that when threatened they can be aggressive. They beat their chests and let out angry grunts and roars. Group leaders will charge at the threat and mothers will fight to the death to protect their young.

This trek starts in the morning at 07AM from the Park reception in KINIGI by allocating tourists in groups, then each group of 08 tourist gets a Park ranger and porters on request to start the gorilla trek experience.

This 6 Days adventure tour will take us into the wildness of Akagera National Park and the famous Volcanoes National Park for Gorilla Trekking and Golden Monkey Trekking.
