ToursByLocals has a team of recruiting specialists who scour the globe in search of deeply knowledgeable, reliable and engaging tour guides. When a good prospect is found, we encourage them to apply to open an account on our site and publish their tours.
If the application is accepted, prospective guides are interviewed to assess their language competency and suitability. All guides undergo regular screening checks. The guides are then onboarded by a dedicated team (several of whom are current or former ToursByLocals guides themselves!) who help the guides prepare for being part of the ToursByLocals network of guides.
