Donating to Philippines Recovery Efforts

In response to the devastation wrought by Typhoon Haiyan, the Canadian Government is currently matching all funds donated to registered charities. ToursByLocals has just made a $1000 donation to the Canadian Red Cross in support of Philippine relief efforts. We hope that our guides and travelers who are in a position to help also consider donating to the organization of their choice.

We recommend donating to well-established organizations with solid experience working in disaster situations - organizations like the Red Cross, UNICEF, Doctors Without Borders and Oxfam, to name a few.
