Discover coconut kingdom of Mekong Delta (My Tho and Ben Tre) from Saigon. We can avoid the tourist crowds with a visit to more authentic places as follows: the rice paddy fields, fruit gardens and some local traditional industries. My Tho City is just 70km from South of Saigon. My Tho and Ben Tre are connected by Rach Mieu bridge. There are many short boat-trips to various islands, Ben Tre and floating markets in the surrounding areas. It also has overnight long boats to Can Tho, Chau Doc and Phnompenh. . . This popular destination is famous for coconut factories, water coconut canals, bee farms, riding horse-carts and getting experience on hand rowing boats… As the regional capital, My Tho is the main market which receives all the produce from everywhere across the region as well as fish and seafood from My Tho's large ocean going fishing fleet.
Lee was easy to communicate with and arrived early, the van was comfortable. We really enjoyed our day Lee took care of everything and we were able to move at the pace we wanted. It was great to have a tour tailored to us and we were very satisfied with the day we had!

Le was an amazing tour guide. We toured the Mekong which is his home town. His knowledge of the region, the daily lives of the residents was fascinating and gave us tremendous insight into the Vietnamese people. Though he is not a native English speaker it was all the more impressive that his personality was such a bright spot on the tour.
Great day with Lee driving out of the city to visit the tunnels. Lee gave us a great review of the history of Vietnam, but more importantly, his insight that he has learned from his father who twice fought in the wars, was fascinating. Tunnels tour was very cool, and a greater understanding of how the guerilla warfare was successful. Lee as a fn guy to spend a day with, and I highly recommend him.
Family of 4. Lee's tour scores top marks on all the boxes. Informative, entertaining and extremely well planned logistics. We had our own comfortable spacious van. All of our transport - boats, vehicles, horse cart - were private, not shared. Lee also knows how to navigate to avoid crowds as much as possible. He goes where the crowds are least and works against, around, behind or ahead of the masses while not skipping any sites. Highly recommend!

We will continue to stop at bee farm with another island to enjoy honey tea, local products, and enjoy the traditional music - After that we will enjoy lunch at local restaurant.
