Yen Tu Mountain, one of Vietnam's most revered religious attractions, is majestically located in the northern coastal Quang Ninh province. Yen Tu is renowned for its picturesque landscapes, ancient pagodas, and especially its significance as the birthplace of the Truc Lam Yen Tu Zen Sect. Throughout its 700-year history, Yen Tu has preserved a vast system of pagodas, temples, and valuable relics, earning it the title "capital of Buddhism in Vietnam." A journey to Yen Tu offers a profound spiritual experience, inviting visitors to find inner peace on their path to this sacred sanctuary. You will: - Enjoy a scenic cable car ride to the top of Yen Tu Mountain. - Visit the largest copper statue in Vietnam. - Explore a unique bronze pagoda at the summit of Yen Tu Mountain (1,068m above sea level). - Immerse yourself in the beautiful and pristine natural surroundings.
Your Halong tour itinerary
2:00 PM: Drive approximately 1 hour to the foothills of Yen Tu Mountain, passing through the picturesque Halong countryside. Upon arrival, you'll transfer by electric car to the cable car station. Enjoy stunning views of the ancient pagodas, temples, and towers nestled within the Yen Tu Forest Natural Reserve. You'll visit a pagoda and have opportunities to take photos amidst the unique Limestone Mountains. Embark on a gentle hike of 500m along concrete paths, followed by 250 steps, leading you to Hue Quang Tower Garden. Continue your ascent up another 150 steps to reach Hoa Yen Pagoda, a historically significant temple built during the Ly Dynasty. After your visit, take the cable car back down and transfer by electric car to your waiting van. We'll then drive to Truc Lam Monastery, the headquarters of the Truc Lam Zen Buddhist Sect in Vietnam. 7:30 PM: Drive back to the port, concluding your tour service. The tour schedule is flexible to accommodate your arrival time in Halong Port.
