Yen Tu is well known for its picturesque landscapes, ancient pagodas and especially the foundation of Truc Lam Yen Tu Zen Sect. The mountain is called the capital of Buddhism in Vietnam because over 700 years, Yen Tu still remains the huge system of pagodas, temples and valuable relics. You will: Enjoy cable car to the top of Yen Tu Mountain Visit the largest copper statue in Vietnam Visit a bronze pagoda on the highest mountain in Asia (1068 m above the sea level) Beautiful and fresh nature
Your Halong tour itinerary
2:00 PM - Drive 1 hr to the foothill of Yen Tu Mountain, passing the scenic Halong countryside. Transfer by electric car, then walk to the cable car station. Enjoy views of ancient pagodas, temples, and towers in Yen Tu Forest Natural Reserve from the cable car. Visit a pagoda and take photos at the Limestone Mountains. Hike 500m on concrete paths and 250 steps to Hue Quang Tower Garden, with a statue of Buddhist King Tran Nhan Tong. Continue up 150 steps to Hoa Yen Pagoda, built during the Ly Dynasty. Return to the cable car, then take an electric car back to the van. Drive to Truc Lam Monastery, the headquarters of Truc Lam Zen Buddhism Sect in Vietnam. 07:30 PM: Drive back to the port. Ends of service.
