Lisbon is my hometown! To be a "Lisboeta" is to know how to walk while looking up enjoying the bluest of skies, spot the best spots for a picture or to follow the smell of local espresso. Let me introduce you to the scenic narrow streets of some of the oldest neighborhoods in the city, where locals give us the perception of what means to live in a place founded almost 3000 years ago! A place with light, soul and character. Personally I believe Lisbon wouldn't be as it is if not for our river Tagus, gateway for cruises from worldwide and the most amazing water mirror you've seen. Vibrant, eclectic, modern and but keeping its traditions, Lisbon as always been a safe harbor for locals and visitors! Come and join me and you'll fall in love with mainland Europes westernmost point!
Our day starts from your hotel or pier and we'll cover the Downtown squares such as Rossio, Restauradores and the Liberty Avenue. We'll procced towards Eduard VII Garden view point for a picture and some introduction to the city and then drive by Graça and Alfama districts. Time permitting we'll have a small walking tour in Alfama to better understand the core neighborhood of Lisbon. After a Lunch break continue to Monastery of Saint Jerome, the Tower of Belem and Monument to the Discoveries. Continue to Expo 98 District today called Park of Nations for a glimpse of Modern Lisbon and its contemporary architecture! If it fits your interests a visit to the 4th biggest aquarium in the world (Oceanário) is possible or maybe one of the main museums in town (Navy, Coaches, Ancient Art, Gulbenkian or the Tiles Museum). Drive back to your hotel/accommodation or cruise pier. **The Monastery of Saint Jerome closes on Mondays. The tour can be customized according to your preferences, please inquire
