We’ll also explore Estremoz, the home of Portuguese marble, where the landscape is shaped by this “white gold”, or Vila Viçosa, home to one of the most exquisite palaces in the country.
Your Lisbon tour itinerary
The tour begins with a convenient pickup from your hotel. After a scenic two-hour drive, we’ll arrive at the historic Royal Stud Farm, where we’ll spend the morning exploring. Depending on the day and the farm’s schedule, we may even get the chance to see the magnificent Lusitano horses roaming in the wild. Following the visit, we’ll enjoy lunch at a nearby traditional restaurant of your choice, sampling the region’s authentic flavors. In the afternoon, we’ll continue the trip to visit Estremoz, the heart of Portugal’s marble extraction, to explore the charming town and its historic castle, or the town of Vila Viçosa, where we can visit the stunning Ducal Palace, the ancestral home of the Bragança family, who became Portugal’s Royal Family in the 17th century. Depending on group size and availability our transports are always made on a premium sedan/estate (Mercedes E or equilavent) or a Mercedes Van. All cars are equipped with wi-fi, cooler, leather seats, multizone air conditioning and privacy windows. Altough the maximum capacity of the van is 7, we set the maximum number to 5 so that the middle seats are not taken and there's more room. If your group is larger than 5 please contact us so we can create a customized tour.
