From Lisbon we'll travel a route especially designed to allow you to indulge in some of the finest wines and olive oils from Alentejo. Experience the beautiful scenery of Portugal along the way. We'll first visit Évora, whose roots go back to Roman times. The city reached its golden age in the 15th century, when it became the residence of King Manuel I. Its unique heritage from the whitewashed houses influenced by the Moorish Architecture and wrought-iron balconies dating from the 16th to the 18th century. We'll Visit the Diana's Temple, symbol of the city, and explore Portugal's largest medieval cathedral. Take a look at the bone chapel, an exceptional chapel built in the late 16th century and after a delicious traditional lunch, we will explore the Monsaraz Castle with a beautiful view to the Largest manmade lake Alqueva.
