Overview of your Lisbon tour
We will depart from Lisbon and go firstly to Mafra and visit the Palace and Convent of Mafra made with Portuguese, italian and German experts in a stunning Baroque style that inspired the Portuguese Nobel Prize of Literature José Saramago. This is the biggest palace in Portugal with 4500 windows and doors, 880 rooms and 96 bells and 6 Pipe Organs, the biggest ensemble in Europe - meant to be played together. From here, we can go to a miniature village where we can learn about all the different traditional jobs in this region. It is a delight for younger and older visitors. Then, we will proceed to Ericeira, a well known city for its fishermen, surfing beaches and uniqueness. Best place for fresh fish and seafood! And the First Surf World Reserve in Europe! But I also suggest an off the beaten track traditional restaurant in Mafra, if you wish to taste local food.
