Crossing the bridge over the Tagus river this tour takes us to the blue coast region where we can see amazing landscapes, the sea, mountain, vineyards,beaches. It will be an unforgettable experience. Azeitão is Known for its red wine, olives and creamy sheep cheese, the latter prized as one of the best in the country, it also features some of the finest quintas (villas or country estates) in the region. Palmela is topped by a medieval castle with moorish foundations and the most amazing views. Close by the Arrábida Natural Park is a very important reserve rich in mediterranean vegetation. Setúbal has a fishing port with local restaurants famous for fish dishes.

We greatly enjoyed three tours with Susana: Lisbon; Sintra, Cabo do Roca and Cascais; and the Blue Coast. These tours form a highly complementary overview of Lisbon and its beautiful environs with a guide who is remarkably knowledgeable, indefatigably enthusiastic, incomparably experienced and endlessly flexible. Above and beyond those great positives, Susana is a very good driver (on roads that demand expertise). If you have a few days in Lisbon, you can't do better than spending three days with Susana.

We visit the castle of Palmela, headquarters of the military and religious order of Saint James of the Sword. Next we will learn all about tiles when we visit an artisanal tile factory.We will be explained the process of tile making since the moulding of the clay, glazing ,painting to the finished product. Our next stop is the most famous farmers market of the region in Setúbal ( Closed on Mondays). Fresh fruits, vegetables, dried fruits, cheeses, olives, fish, bacalhau, meat, pastries and sweets. A selection of fresh products sold by local farmers . Free time for lunch close to the fishing harbour. After lunch we drive back through the mountain range of Arrábida with breathtaking views.
