Oh, seriously, all four of us concluded it was the best tour we've ever taken. And it helped make us fall in love with Lisbon. We met Cecilia on our first day, which was perfect, and then spent the rest of the week seeking out special food. If you want to avoid tourist traps and enjoy family businesses with authentic, delicious food, then do this tour! Cecilia R. is a great host to a city that was more fun than we could have predicted.

What a fantastic tour! We spent three hours getting to know a little bit about Lisbon food, drink, culture and history. Each stop included something really tasty while learning about Lisbon's past, present and future. I cannot recommend this tour enough especially if you don't have multiple days to spend in Lisbon. Cecelia was AMAZING! She gave us an amazing glimpse into the culture of Portugal. We had some amazing food and drinks. We requested a tour off the beaten path through the eyes of a local. Mission accomplished! I would recommend her for a top notch tour. Highly recommend her!
Such fun strolling the streets of Lisbon and tucking in to little gems for a bite of something delicious. Our tour was on a Sunday when some of her favorites are closed and two of us are gluten free. Not a problem for Cecilia and her network. The black pork belly at the wine bar was one of the most delicious things we have ever eaten. Worth every step, sip and bite!
I spent a wonderful late afternoon/early evening with Cecilia exploring the food/wine and food history of Lisbon and Portugal. An excellent way to be introduced to both the old town in Lisbon and the excellent cuisine. Highlights for me included the complexities of making a really good proscuitto , escabeche (octopus Petiscos (tapas)), portuguese sheep cheese and the port. Cecilia wove the history of food with the history of the area and country, showing how one influenced the other. Thank you Cecilia for a memorable few hours!

Since the tour is mainly in the city center, we can easily walk and use escalators to move around. This is the default option for this tour. If you prefer, I can hire a modern car with driver who can drive us or a tuk tuk. Please be aware: some points are very busy and others are hard to park since we are in the city center. Traffic jam can also delay the experience. If you prefer a car the maximum travelers would be 3 and the tour price will be higher, since you will have to add the car fee to the budget.
