Hi, my name is Agata. I come from Cracow. I am a musician (singer), and a 5 years ago I moved back from Boston MA (USA) where I spent the last 4, 5 years studying at the Berklee College of Music. Now I am performing mainly in Europe. I am attending the PhD program at the Jagiellonian University, where I also teach (Management sciences, Humanities). Organizing trips in Cracow and its area - this is my passion. I am very proud Cracovian and I enjoy very much hosting people from all over the world. I love to cook and eat, tell the stories and legends or just discuss the current political situation in Poland ;) I can show you Cracow: Old Town, Kazimierz, Podgorze or industrial Nowa Huta. I can also take my guests to Cracow's surroundings - Salt Mine in Wieliczka, Zakopane, Zawoja, Tarnow, Czorsztyn - just name the place, I will organize the trip with the pleasure. Basically showing around my beautiful city to foreign guests is always a great adventure for me, as well as the opportunity to meet new people. I travel very often on my own, so I know how to settle my guests in a new place. Waiting for the challenges - all customized trips are welcome! Guys! Polish folklore is captivating, the cuisine is really delicious, polish history is really interesting. I would like to show you the cultural richness of my region. The history of my country is so vivid, you will see its reflection in Polish food. I am taking you to a restaurant that not only tourists, but also Poles love to go to. The food is simple, yet very tasty. If you're interested in learning about the polish culture from the food perspective, this trip is excellent for you! We are going to start an evening with a walk through the Main Market Square - one of the biggest squares in the world. The walk will include f. e. the "papal window", near the Franciscan church with the famous stained glass windows of Stanisław Wyspiański, the Jagiellonian University and magical Planty Garden Ring. We will reach the charming Szczepanski square, one of the many surrounding Main Market Square. Agata took us on a very pleasant tour of Krakow, which was very informative. The tour included a traditional Polish dinner, which was lots of fun. We were so pleased with her that we signed up for a second tour by her, that covered additional areas of interest. That tour included some local street food for lunch, which turned out to be quite good. She provided some very interesting commentary about what life was like as a young girl growing up when Poland was under communist domination.
