Overview of your Budapest tour

As an arthistorian I love this tour, as this is an excellent occasion to show, what Hungarian baroque is! Gödöllő, located northeast of Budapest, is a historic town which's origins date back to the 14th century. The city's most famous sight is the Royal Palace, which is the second-largest Baroque castle in the world, and the only royal residence that remained intact during the stormy history of Hungary. And what a history! The castle was used by the Grassalkovich family, Austrian empress Marie Therese and during the Austro-Hungarian Empire became a favorite summer residence of the royals, Emperor Franz Joseph and his wife Elizabeth, better known Sisi, who spent a great deal of time here. Then, came more troubled times, when Governor Horthy, the Nazi Germany, and the Soviet Red Army used the palace alike. Today the splendidly refurbished palace offers a real-time journey to visitors! So welcome! THIS IS A PRIVATE TOUR, WHEN YOU ARE LESS, THEN 6 PERSON, ASK FOR CUSTOMIZED TOUR!
