I have been in love with history since I can remember but at university when I got a chance to get know more the about 20th century I just dived more deep in it because we have so many sources and it's so controversial. If you don't know much about this period, book my tour and get to know more about this era but if you are the discussing and debating type, all the better! We start by sitting down for a cup of coffee or anything else you'd like and having a focused conversation about Hungary's and Budapest's past in the last 150 years, marred by revolutions, two world wars (both lost), Nazi and Communist dictatorships and the effects of these on today's young, only 31-year-old democracy. The tour ends at the shocking Shoes on the Danube memorial, which has a story everyone has to hear!
