Welcome! My name is Carolina, and I’m originally from Argentina with Italian roots. I’ve been living in Denmark since early 2016. I came here as a tourist and fell in love with this beautiful country, its colorful houses, and its fascinating Viking history. My background is in graphic design, but I’ve always loved architecture thanks to my father, who is an architect. Since I was a child, I’ve enjoyed learning about the details and stories behind buildings. Now I’m married to a Dane and have two young children, which has immersed me deeply in Danish culture. I love sharing the fascinating anecdotes, traditions, and experiences I’ve discovered along the way. I’m particularly passionate about the history of Danish kings and queens, the stories of Viking ships, and the rich traditions of this ancient kingdom. Denmark is full of unique details that I can’t wait to share with you. One of my favorite things when traveling is trying local food. I enjoy recommending Danish ingredients and dishes that are worth tasting again and again. If you would like to customize a tour, let me know, and I will be happy to create an experience tailored to your interests! Would you like to discover Denmark with me? Write to me, and let’s explore together!

As someone who has spent the past ten years exploring every corner of this beautiful country, Roskilde remains my favorite destination, especially for its Viking ships. We’ll visit the Viking Ship Museum, where you’ll see some of the world’s oldest Viking ships on display. You’ll learn about their origins, how they were built, and the incredible stories behind them. At the shipyard, we might even find craftsmen at work—axe in hand—building replicas using traditional techniques. If we’re lucky, we’ll get to see the reconstructed ships up close, and yes, you can even step aboard to experience Viking life firsthand! There’s also a chance to dress up as a Viking and snap a fun photo to remember the day. Roskilde Cathedral is another highlight. Together, we’ll discover its stunning architecture, hear fascinating stories about the Danish kings and queens buried there—like the legendary Queen Margaret I—and explore how the cathedral has evolved throughout the centuries.

We’ll take the regional train heading to the city of Roskilde, and then we’ll follow the itinerary on foot. The terrain is varied, ranging from flat areas to rocky paths, including a small forest and a slight uphill section.

We will meet at the entrance of Copenhagen Central Station, located across from one of the entrances to Tivoli Gardens, right next to the hotdog stand. The meeting point is flexible. I can pick you up at the airport, your hotel, or any specific location of your choice. However, the tour's estimated duration is planned based on my suggested starting point. Depending on where we begin, the itinerary, tour duration, and price may vary.
