Customized Private Day Tour of Terracotta Warriors and Xi'an

Wendy was incredibly knowledgeable and a fantastic guide. She covered not only the main facts but had lots of additional information and really engaged with all our questions, giving us lots of insights. Her English is excellent and so we were able to chat about lots of different things including broader Chinese history and life in China overall. Overall a great day and it made a huge difference to have such a great guide!

Wendy is a great tour guide. She picked us up and wisked us to the terra cotta warriors. No waiting in line, she already had our tickets. We received our ear pieces and headed in. It was crowded, but Wendy made sure we had a great view of each area. She helped us see where we could get closer as she shared her extensive knowledge about the history bot of how the warriors were built, and how they were discovered and the restoration process. She also helped us get great pictures of our entire family. She was able to keep us together as well. We went to the museum area and she pointed out some interesting details about the warriors where we could see them up close. She knew so much about each part of the process. Once we left the warrior area, she took us to lunch at a great restaurant. She helped us with which dishes were the local specialties. We ordered several dishes, all of which were delicious. Great recommendations. From there we went to the Wild Goose Pagoda. Such a beautiful place. Wendy was able to share about both the history of the pagoda and Buddism in general. Lots of sayings and special details were shared. Towards the end of this portion of the tour, my daughter got sick. Wendy amd our driver were able to quickly pivot and get us back to the hotel quickly and without incident. I would highly recommend using a local tour guide and a small group, private setting. The tour was personalized for our family and the guide and driver were both superb.

Highly recommend Wendy for your adventures in and around Xi'an. Wendy is highly organized, speaks great English, and very knowledgeable. She created an amazing day for us while sharing her extensive knowledge. She even went above and behind on suggestions for us during our stay in Xi'an and checked in to make sure we weren't having issues. A true professional and very enjoyable person to spend the day with.

Fabulous tour of the terracotta warriors - Wendy’s narrative really helped Chinese history come alive for us! In addition, she went out of her way to look after my elderly parents (helping them over bumpy pathways, minimizing heat exposure). Wendy was Great! Met me and my three kids at the hotel and drove us to the Terracotta Warriors site. We spent the day enjoying her stories, infomation about the site and history of the area and culture. Her english is fluent, her personality is amazing and we really appreciated it all.
