Miao Villages Forgotten by Time Multi-Day Tour

This is a trip into the untouched area with beautiful authentic Miao villages unknown to the outside world. Travellers who are interested in experiencing real minority life are highly encouraged to take this trip. Taking local ferries with local people allows us better understand their daily life and existing difficulties. Hotel and restaurant conditions are limited in this trip, as few travellers go this far into this region. However, all safety concerns have been taken into account and guaranteed in this trip.

Day1 Guiyang-Kaili-Voodoo Mountains-Keyo Village-50km Forest Gallery-Southpost Stay at Southpost We will meet in Guiyang and drive to Southpost through scenic areas and it would be a long day of driving today, the driving time is about 5 hours in total. Day2 Take the morning ferry boat to Woosha Village/take another ferry boat to Willowriver Town stay at Willowriver The ferryboat comes and goes everyday as local villagers main transportation method/Woosha is the Miao village famous for Red Stitch Embroidery Day3 Willowriver to the Tin-embroidery village, Zinklure Home stay in Zinklure We drive to a small town and take a boat to the other side of the river then a half hour hike of mountain path before we finally get to the hidden village with the unique technique of embroidery with tin slices Day4 From Zinklure, we can continue our trip to: A) Guiyang B) Kaili C) Zhenyuan Ancient Town D) Zhaoxing Dong Village
