WELCOME TO CAMBODIA-KINGDOM OF WONDER Cambodia is a country of mystery and enchantment, best known for the majestic temples of ancient Khmer civilizations. The country offers travelers the unique experience of visiting the World Heritage listed sites of Angkor and so much more. Cambodia is my country. I would like the opportunity to share my knowledge and love of my country with you. But first let me introduce myself. My name is Toun Sotath. I was born and raised in a rural community within Kampong Thom province. As a young adult, I spent many years as a monk. During this time I studied philosophy and religion at universities in Myanmar and Taiwan. More recently I spent a short time in Australia and Singapore. Through my studies and varied life experiences, I have developed a comprehensive knowledge of the ancient and modern history of my country. Those same life experiences along with many years as a guide, have given me insights into the needs of clients from various parts of the world. I speak English and Chinese as well as my native Khmer language. My aim as your guide is to provide you with an unforgettable experience. This could be tours of the temples in Angkor Archaeological Park, tours around the city, tours to outlying temples, to beaches, or to areas away from the usual tourist trail. In addition being a tour guide, I am an experienced travel consultant and can arrange all your travel needs including accommodation, transportation, entrance fees, boat trips and meals. Overview of your Siem Reap tour

For several centuries Angkor, was the centre of the Khmer Kingdom. With impressive monuments, several different ancient urban plans and large water reservoirs, the site is a unique concentration of features testifying to an exceptional civilization. Temples such as Angkor Wat, the Bayon, Preah Khan and Ta Prohm, exemplars of Khmer architecture, are closely linked to their geographical context as well as being imbued with symbolic significance.

Our 2 days of touring in and around of Angkor Wat with Sotath was outstanding. It was a wonderful combination of things we knew we wanted to see AND special things that Sotath suggested to us. In addition to the many temple sites, museums, etc. that we experienced we also got to take a beautiful sunset cruise on Tonle Sap Lake. Ankor Wat truly is a must-see special site, experience in all the world. With a guide like Sotath you see and experience so much more in the special time you have!

My husband and I booked a two-day tour with Sotath. It was the best tour of our trip in Southeast Asia, primarily due to Sotath's very thoughtfully curated itinerary and his breadth of knowledge about the temples and history of the city/region. We learned so much that has enriched our travels as a whole. Sotath also thoughtfully had water and cooling wipes for the long days of temple viewings. We would love to return and do another tour with Sotath to see other sites we couldn't get to this trip.

Sotath was an excellent guide. He showed us everything we wanted to see and extras too. He was a joy to be with. We had some trouble with the heat but he always had cold water and towelettes for us. He was always concerned with our comfort. I would highly recommend Sotath. You won't be sorry!

Sotath was a wonderful guide. He is scholarly, kind, and sensitive to his guests. He was a monk for many years, has lived in multiple countries, and is a university graduate. He brings his informed perspective to his tours, mixing thoughtful commentary, history, and cultural ideas. His knowledge of Buddhism was especially enlightening for us. Day 2: Grand Angkor complex Morning: visit Preash Khan Temple Neak Pean Temple, Banteay Srei Temple, Pre rup Temple Afternoon: Boat trip to the great Tonle Sap Lake and floating village.
