This route is recommended Thursday to visit the traditional market Zaachila and the tombs built by the Zapotecs passing by the villague of Arrazola to see the demonstration of wood carving traditionally called alebrijes and exconvent of Cuilapan de Guerrero to end our tour in a country restaurant and taste typical food of Oaxaca
starting the route at 9:00 am to arrive at our first stop at 9:30 am in the community of arrazola to continue at 10:30 am to the exmonasterio of cuilapan de guerrero to continue to the zaachila market to walk through the market and visit the Zapotec tombs and we finished with a lounch time in a country restaurant.

We thoroughly enjoyed our day! Sebastian chose two different but both very good workshops to showcase the alejantes. The Zaachila market tour was enjoyable, beautiful produce of all kinds as well as household goods, and a large crowd of local people. I would have enjoyed the livestock market also. Perhaps that could be offered as an alternative to those interested. The Zapotec tombs are an unfamiliar archaeological site, but interesting because of that. The steps down into the tombs are challenging, even
