Full day tour with transportation including the Last Post at the Menin Gate
The tour starts at your hotel or accommodation in Bruges, or at another place, on request at 9am towards Nieuwpoort.
You will visit the centre under the Albert Memorial to understand how and why the Belgians flooded the lowlands.
You will see the locks of the "ganzepoot".
On the road towards Diksmuide you will stand in a Belgian WW1 cemetery.
Lunch in Diksmuide
You will stand in the trenches held by the Belgians called the "Trench of Death". You will walk in the remembrance garden of the Tower of Diksmuide.
On the road to Ypres you will see the flat plains and understand why large offensive were impossible.
See the Cloth Hall, the Cathedral, the St George Memorial Church and many other nice places in Ypres before attending the Last Post ceremony at the Menin Gate.
After the ceremony I bring you back to your accommodation.

Bruges to Nieuwpoort is a 40 minutes, a 15 minutes to Ramskapelle and 15 more to Diksmuide. a 30 minutes driving toYpres and after the Last Post a 40 minutes back to Bruges.
