Private Tour in Ephesus With wine taste
We will concentrate Ephesus and their meals, drink they had in the ancient times. These people made the best wine of Mediterranean and offered to their guests in their luxurious houses. We'll visit Roman baths, latrines, terrace houses and other impressive buildings. If you interest in archeology, we can visit the Ephesus museum, as well. Or we can visit St. John Basilica with Ayasuluk castle from 13th century. This fort hosted Byzantine then Turkish soldiers. It had been used as an arsenal to defend many years ago. After visiting Ephesus city we are having our lunch at a local winery called 7 Sages. There will be five different local dry wines made in the winery. Three kind of the wines are awarded in Europe recent years. We can have a short brief about wine making in this boutique winery. Then we will take our table at the restaurant. You'll have a cheese plate with grapes as the appetizer with your wine. If you like, you can order your lunch at the restaurant, as well. Then, driving back to the port.
