One day in Langhe wine making terroir

The Langhe area is midway between Turin and Genoa, a rural treasure trove of villages and agricultural landscapes. This is the kingdom of Barolo, the king of wines and the wine of the kings.

When visiting in autumn you cannot leave this areas without checking out its white truffle fair or why not go on a truffle hunt ?

This tour departs from the town of Alba and ends in Alba.

The above area can be visited departing from Torino on a one-day trip: in case you wish to depart from Torino and return to Torino, please go to my Torino TO Langhe in a hired car page tour for more details.
Please take not that having 1024 characters at disposal to describe the tour, not every single place/site/trade that is included in the tour is stated in the itinerary.

Drive from Alba to our first stop, a family-run Barolo winery where you will visit its cellars and taste a selection of 3 Nebbiolo-grape-based wines, including a Barolo vintage.
The tour continues with a stop in Alba, the capital city of the Langhe area, where we will walk in the narrow, medieval streets, visit roman ruins and should it be saturday, a visit to the local farmers' market is a must do.
Lunch at leisure. I will be more than happy to point out to you must-not-miss dining places.
During the second part of the day, we will drive to one of the many villages in the Langhe area to indulge in another wine tasting. The place I have selected for you, offers a wide showcase of locally produced wines: red, white, sparkling, and "grappes".

I may occasionally find it necessary to modify the stated itinerary/supplier due to unforeseen circumstances, availability, or in order to improve the trip. In the event that I alter any part(s) of the itinerary, I will substitute a
