Rain or shine, the Best Way to See Downtown , False Creek and Granville Island

Let's face it: as beautiful as Vancouver is when you are wet and cold you won't notice it. But with careful planning you will have a great tour. How? Short walking time interspliced with indoor activities, great sites, a knowledgeable tour guide and your innate common sense to dress according to the weather conditions.
We start in downtown Vancouver: then hop on a train for 5 minutes, and walk around historical Yaletown. We then stroll 2 blocks to the beautiful sheltered False Creek waterway and board a covered False Creek Ferry to Granville Island.
Shops, artisans, marketplaces are what tourists usually see but we will also explore the areas where the locals shop and play.
Coffee, tea or hot chocolate will round out the tour. Then it is up to you. . . stay on the island or back to downtown Yaletown. . This tour is available between November 1st and March 31st.

I recommend a start time of 10 am P. S. T. but I will accept tours up until 2 pm.

Tour starts in Downtown Vancouver at a previously agreed starting place {i. e. Hotel or the Vancouver Art Gallery.
We will tour the downtown core noting some of Vancouver's more interesting sites. We then will make our way by train to historic Yaletown on the shore of False Creek.
We will hop on a covered water taxi and travel to Granville Island.
We will explore the island's shops, studios and galleries as well as the famous Granville Island Market.
