Main street combined with nature walk
On this tour we will start to walk on Oslo's main street Karl Johan, and take a closer look at many of the signature buildings in Oslo's city center. We will see the Royal Palace, the University, the National Theatre, the Parliament and Oslo Cathedral, before we head towards the Aker river and the Fairytale bridge.
We will have a lovely walking tour along the river on a wide path free of cars, so we can listen to the birds songs and the slow flowing river. We will see beautiful parks and bridges. Old factory buildings from mid-1800s are well preserved and transformed into new industry as restaurants, art galleries, schools, offices and a food hall.
I will tell you the importance of this river for the people in Oslo, all the way back to the Medieval.
We will stop for a coffee break by the food hall before we continue to see the cascading waterfalls.
Back to the city center, we jump on a tram.
Pleace see the tour descriptions. This is a tour were you will have the lively main street of Oslo and the peaceful river walk up to the waterfalls in the same package. Remember suitable shoes, and of course to bring your camera!

Frida was an absolute delight. She was knowledgeable and kept our two girls (ages 10 and 8) engaged throughout the tour. She provided us with the exact tour I requested, and allowed us time to walk in and out of stores. She also gave us helpful tips about transportation and dinning. I would highly recommend her for anyone interested in learning about the Oslo center and beyond.
