Walk through Odessa, discover real Ukraine
It's a bargain tour! It consist of my walking tour plus a visit to a museum Steppe's Ukraine. It's a photo tour with free photos. The walking part is the same as my walking tour. The museum: Steppe's Ukraine is a quaint little museum, three rooms only. No boring stands. Shows reconstructed interiors of the houses of Ukrainian, German, Bulgarian, Jewish, Moldavian, Gagauz and other nationalities, living in Odessa region. Clothes, toys, pottery, old paintings, embroidery from 18-19 centuries. An icon of St Nicholas from 18 century. National clothing, 18-19 centuries.
Old weaving looms, spinning wheels, butter churners and other everyday objects. Paintings of celebrated Ukrainian hetmans.
The museum has a laid back, intimate touch. No crowds and no tourists.
Off beaten track, be the first to discover it, and be the envy of your fellow tourists.
