Historical and modern sights of Vladivostok

During this 5-hour tour you will see all the most popular sights and experience the best parts of Vladivostok with me as your local guide.
It is the best solution for CRUISE PASSENGERS who has to visit all the most important landmarks of Vladivostok within a single day.

As we walk the city center and explore historical landmarks, I will share some of the history and unique culture of Vladivostok. Aside from historical places, I'll show you modern sights too. Vladivostok has undergone huge transformations since the APEC Summit of 2012. Among these transformations are included modern cable-stayed bridges (one of them, Russky, is one of the longest in the world) and the campus of Far Eastern University.

To finish a great day, we'll have a tour around Russky island, where we'll find some constructions of legendary Vladivostok's fortress. This haunting monuments to a turbulent past have been closed since Soviet times. We'll lift the veil of history to see them in a new light.

Itinerary

We'll begin from the central railway station. Then proceed to the old Brynner's villa. Yes, you are right - the famous Hollywood actor Yul Brynner was born here, in Vladivostok. Then I'll show and tell you urban legends about Grey Horse - great building of Soviet Times.
Then we'll walk along Svetlanskaya street. I'll show you old-fashioned mansions where before revolution were the biggest Trading Houses and commercial apartments and tell you success stories of their owners.
Then we'll drive by Golden and Russky bridges to Russky island and visit Voroshilov battery - one of the object of legendary Vladivostok Fortress ( in case if Voroshilov battery is closed, it will be changed by Novosilthevskaya battery).
Then we'll drive to Pokrovsky Park, where you can walk and visit Russian Orthodox Temple.
Please pay your attention - part of this tour (about 2. 5 hours) is walking. Price is for two persons, if you are more then two , please contact me, I recalculate the price

We thank you for a great day in Vladivostok. We truly appreciated the visit you organised for us. We found both the city and your tour very informative and very enjoyable. It was our first time visiting Russia, and it did not disappoint. It will be one of the highlights of our cruise. Thank you again to you and your sister for a memorable day. Patrick and Irene
