Add hot steamed milk to your coffee
. . . add hot steamed milk and you get the best coffee in Vienna - the classical Viennese melange. On this tour I show you all the highlights that you would see on the "espresso" tour plus some less touristic parts of downtown. Peep into some of the quiet and beautiful backyards, visit churches also from inside (St. Stephens, The Augustine Church, St. Michaels and Minorite Church) and join me for a coffee and applestrudel in one of Viennas famous coffeehouses.
From the Opera house, we walk over the Kärntner Strasse and some quiet places up to the very heart of Vienna, St. Stephens square with the wonderful gotic cathedral that we will also visit from inside before I want to show you some of the quiet backyards and silent lanes just behind St. Stephens. From there, we stroll down over the poshest street, the Kohlmarkt and will face the majestic imperial palace. We visit St. Michaels church, then head on to the Minorite Church close by and stroll through the green gardens along the ring to see more of the palace from a different side. Attached to the palace you will find the famous Spanish Riding school with the white Lipizzan horses and the wedding church of the Habsburg family, the Augustine Church. After so many impressions and culture we can continue to chat over a coffee and applestrudel or Sachertorte in one of our great coffeehouses
