A creative and yummy experience
Eveybody knows about Venice and its Carnival, the use of masks and the fab costumes of XVII century. During this tour you'll get familiar with the old tradition of disguise and you'll learn to decorate a mask. In an active workshop a maskmaker will show you the birth of a character from a mould where many layers of paper and glue turn into paper maché. Once you've created a face, you need to give it some expression: it is your turn to show your artistry with pencils, colours, wax and much more.
The tour goes on with a chocolate tasting experience. A few minutes away from the masks workshop is Venice most renowned chocolaterie, where an historical introduction to cocoa will make way for a yummy choco tasting.
Pls, check availability before booking.
A few minutes walk from our meeting place will take us to the masks shop. We are going to spend a couple of hours there. From the workshop to the chocolaterie is 5 minutes. The tasting experience will last 30 minutes. The tour develops between St Mark's and Rialto bridge so, both locations are central.
