You wouldn't experience Venice as a whole if besides walking through its maze-like urban fabric, you don't get to navigate its waterways to grasp its unique water environment.
This tour then is meant then to introduce the city to you in a most complete way by both land and water.
The waterborne part of the tour, including parts of the Grand Canal, we'll give you the opportunity to experience the daily life of the city within its particular nature.
And letting you also taking the greatest pictures of the tour.
The walking part will include the world famous St. Mark's square and a visit of St. Mark's church indoors. Your guide will describe the main stories depicted on the mosaics, the tecnique of making these 'golden puzzles' and tell you why this is unique example of architecture and its historical backround.
And after a walk through the main central district we'll finally get in the Rialto market area, the perfect place to conclude the tour either for lunch or a rest leisure stop.

Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and courteous; he was also able to conduct the tour in Spanish - which was a nice extra for us. The tour is a perfect combination of time spent walking (2 hrs and 10 min) and on boat (50 min.) in Venice. It is perfect for the day after the long fly from USA. While we had been in Venice a couple of times before, we learned a few new things and enjoyed seeing it from a different point of view. My only negative is that in walking we covered a very small area of Venice
