A great way to get introduced to Venice

With so many things to see and admire Venice certainly needs more than just one visit. But no matter how long you'll stay there is a number of great sites that fullfil the expectations of any first time visitor.

This tour is intended then to introduce you to Venice's main sites including St. Mark's square and the Rialto market area. Plus the central district and also a less touristy part of town where the crowds don't get that often.

During the tour your guide step by step will bring you to know the city's main facts and features such as the urban fabric, the water environment, building techniques, famous buildings and facts, preeminent sites and last but not least the present life.

- St. Mark's square and St. Mark's Church
- Rialto market area
- Central district including: campo S. M. Formosa, campo S. Giovanni e Paolo, Venice northern shore
- Less touristy parts of town through Castello and Cananregio districts

To enter St. Mark's church:
NO to short pants, miniskirts, sleeveless, bare shoulders, backpacks which can be dropped in deposit before entering.
YES to bermuda pants, knee long skirts, T or Polo shirts, a scarf to cover shoulders.

St. Mark's church open hours:
Mon > Sat. from 09:45am to 5:00pm
Sundays and holydays from 2:00 to 4:00pm
Being a Cathedral used for religious events the church of St. Mark could be closed without notice
